Remington and Springfield are located in a Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada foster home. Both of these healthy pups are altered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and are well on their way to being housetrained.
Remington will grow to be a larger dog than his sister. He is laid-back and mellow. On his first walk at an off-leash park he proved himself a gregarious fellow. He gave kisses to children whose faces he could reach! Remy is changing colors; his black coat is turning silver on his shoulders!
Springfield is very intelligent and energetic. She was well named, as she truly seems to have a spring inside her! She is also a sweet, people-loving pup. She will likely grow into a mid-sized dog.
Both of these five month old pups are accustomed to cats and other dogs.

Paws and Claws Animal Rescue Foundation works in cooperation with the Sunchild and O'Chiese Reserves. One of our volunteers received a phone call from some teachers on one of these reserves. There were puppies at the school with no one to care for them.
These puppies came into care during the terrible early December cold snap. Their foot-pads were badly frostbitten, and they were badly chilled. (The skin on their pads has healed over now.)
These poor little ones were also badly malnourished. The nutritional deficiency made both puppies susceptible to mange (a tiny insect that lives in the skin) which caused them to itch terribly. This condition is easily treated. They will be completely itch-free soon!
Both pups have come a long way these past two weeks! They haveeaten like little horses, and have filled out into proper-weight puppies.
